Privacy Policy

The short version: Schubox does not collect any data about you. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and the app has no server to send anything to. Your photos stay on your iPhone until you choose to share them.
This policy covers the Schubox app for iPhone, published by Schubox Studio (“we”, “us”).
What we collect
Nothing. Schubox does not collect, store, sell or share personal information, and it does not track you across other apps or websites. The app makes no network connections of its own.
Camera
Schubox asks for the camera so you can photograph your prints. The camera is used only while you are scanning, and the pictures it takes are kept inside the app on your device.
Your photo library
Importing. When you import a photo, Schubox uses Apple’s photo picker. The picker runs separately from the app, and Schubox only ever receives the photos you select — it cannot see the rest of your library.
Saving. If you save a scan to Photos, iOS asks for permission to add photos. That permission lets Schubox add new photos only; it does not let the app read your library.
Where your scans are kept
Scans in progress are stored in Schubox’s private storage on your iPhone. They are not uploaded anywhere, and they are excluded from iCloud backup. Photos you delete are kept in the app’s Deleted list for a while so you can recover them, and are removed from your device as newer deletions replace them. Deleting the app removes everything it has stored.
Your settings, and the recent dates and captions you have typed, are stored on your device in the same way.
When you share
When you share or export a scan, it goes to the destination you pick — Photos, Lightroom, Mail, AirDrop, and so on — and from then on it is handled under that app or service’s own privacy policy. Exported files include the date and caption you added, written into the photo’s metadata so other apps can read them.
Information from Apple
If you have chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and aggregate usage statistics. These do not identify you, and you can turn this off at any time in Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Analytics & Improvements.
This website
schuboxstudio.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking, and loads nothing from other companies’ servers. Our web host, Cloudflare, processes basic request information such as IP addresses in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
Children
Schubox collects no information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the app ever begins collecting any data, this page will say so before that version is released.
